Considering the output “Low employability of fresh Engineering Graduates” of traditional teaching, we have realized that unless ‘quality’ is defined in terms of “Learning Outcomes”, rather than grades and is assessed accordingly, it is difficult to improve the quality of engineering education.
The Outcome based education (OBE) is basically student-centered education model that focuses on measuring student performance through the outcomes like knowledge, skills and attitudes. In the OBE model, the required knowledge and skill sets for a particular engineering degree is predetermined and the students are evaluated for all the required National Board of Accreditation parameters (Programme Outcomes) during the course of the program.

Model of learning is a learning approach that focuses on the use of small groups of students to work together in maximizing the learning conditions for achieving learning objectives. It is the concept of learning that encourages teachers to link between the material being taught to the students real-world situations.
Students of today need to have the right knowledge, skill and disposition to thrive. The preferred learning approach has now turned the way of active learning methods. Active training methods in classroom is already a challenge in itself, this approach will help students find success at every stage of their academic journey.
Active learning refers to a broad range of teaching strategies which engage students as active participants in their learning during class time with their instructor. Typically, these strategies involve some amount of students working together during class, but may also involve individual work and/or reflection. These teaching approaches range from short, simple activities like journal writing, problem solving and paired discussions, to longer, involved activities or pedagogical frameworks like case studies, role plays, and structured team-based learning.
