The library is fully automated with KOHA Software System.
Institute provides Department wise Book Bank facility for all students. The Book Bank has a separate collection of books other than the library books. Book Bank is providing 6 books to the student for the complete semester in the beginning of each academic session, apart from the normal facility of lending books from Library.
The librarian takes concerted effort to collate all the question papers of University examinations of previous years and compiles them orderly. The student-teachers have an access to them.
The librarian goes through the newspapers and collects relevant news items related to education, employment opportunities, socio-cultural issues, current issues, etc. and displays them on the notice board. He also documents them systematically.
The College has taken efforts to digitalize its library. There are 20 computers available for the student-teachers to access to electronic resources. The library has also internet and Wi-Fi connection for the staff and students. The digital library contains wide range of e-Books, e-magazine, e-Journal, Video Lectures apart from the hard copies available in the library.
A small section of books are devoted exclusively for consultation within the Library and hence each such book is stamped as "REFERENCE COPY". The following are some of the types of Reference books stocked by Library.
The reading section is fully air conditioned with an ambient environment for study and research purpose. It has a total seating capacity of 150 students.
